Mum & Me

I consider myself blessed to be my mother's daughter. My mum, Gloria Long, is one of the most talented people I have ever known. From sewing our dresses when my sister and I were little girls, to baking the best apple pie you've ever had, she really can do it all!

That's why we often take on new hobbies together. I have learned a lot along the way, and we always receive great feedback!

Gift Baskets
Mom offers gift baskets at any denomination, for your business or personal needs. A gift basket is always a welcomed gift, for valued business associates and employees. I help beside her with some of the purchasing (and testing of the goods, especially if there is chocolate involved!) :)

Cancer & MS Benefit
When I was a young child, my father was diagnosed with a rare Cancer. He was told that he would have only 3 months to live. He is still kicking around though, trying to boss me around when I'm doing graphic work for him. (ha-ha, love you dad!) I was too young to know it, but it was a very scary situation for my family. I feel for anyone who has witnessed someone going through the difficulties that Cancer can cause. All of us are touched by Cancer in some way.

My mum was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis many years ago. She continues to work as though she were untouched by the MS. I believe this is her way of fighting it. I am very proud of her for how strong she is, and she is the head of the Cancer/MS Benefit every year, usually held in April in Burlington.

It is a wonderful night had by all, from a beautiful dinner to a wonderful set of entertainment and a silent auction, in the form of Tribute bands and a rockin' DJ. You are guaranteed to have a good time, and we hope you will join us.
